#15 Visit 50 countries

A rainy day trip to Montenegro for country number 50! Here I'm at our first stop in Perast to visit Our Lady of the Rocks.

I've listed the 50 countries in alphabetical order with a number next to them showing the order I visited! Some interesting stats:

• The first foreign country was France in 1997 when I was only 8 years old on spring break with my family. (And now it's my second homeland!)
• The 10th was the Netherlands in 2008 while traveling after my Sophomore year study abroad in Versailles, France - I even got to meet up with a Dutch exchange student I had befriended my Freshman year! 
• The 20th was Ghana in 2012 on a grad school study abroad course focused on International Entrepreneurship and Business Growth Strategies in Developing Countries.
• The 30th was India in 2016 for a friend's wedding in Mumbai to which we added to a whirlwind tour of Jaipur, Agra (the Taj Mahal), and New Delhi.
• The 40th was Morocco in 2018 with Saffron Dance to Marrakech, Essaouira, and Ouarzazate!
• The 50th was Montenegro in 2023 when I was 34 years old. We had planned a vacation to Croatia and Slovenia and just so happened to take a day trip to make Montenegro #50!

It's fascinating to see how I went from primarily visiting Europe and the Caribbean with my family growing up, then to my college/grad school study abroads in Europe and Africa, and then really all over the place once I started traveling internationally for work - and could afford to for fun as well!
