BONUS #55 Eat at a 2 Star Michelin Restaurant

Cheers for TEN YEARS!

Our 10th wedding anniversary fell in the middle of a holiday weekend with lots of other travel plans before and after, so we decided to go big while staying close to home - a dinner at Pineapple and Pearls, a 2 star Michelin restaurant. We kicked off the meal making our own Hemingway cocktail with absinthe and champagne, then enjoyed a surprising array of courses and cocktails at the chef's counter overlooking the kitchen. Also the music was boppin!

Everything was tasty! I really loved the caviar bites at the beginning, the spiced lamb, my cheese-it inspired ravioli, moqueca-bouillabaisse fusion, and the "thrilla in Manila" tropical dessert! The jello shot course, funfetti pancakes, and butter popcorn soft serve topped with truffle-infused amaretto cracked me up - so whimsical!

In short, I loved Pineapple and Pearls experience as a fun celebration for 10 years of marriage, and I would totally go again for another fun special occasion! I also started a list to track all the other 1 and 2 star restaurants in the area that we've visited, and look forward to many great meals in the future!
